Cast Iron Claw Cleat (CICC-Cleat):
Application
In all cable installations, an essential factor is to ensure that all cables are secured with the correct cleats for the cable, application, and
environment. The CICC series of cleats support and secure all cables in a single formation throughout the system during normal operation and uring fault conditions that may occur. System integrity is maintained, and cable damage can be prevented.
The CICC range of cleats comply with latest short circuit requirements to EN 61914:2016 & IEC 61914:2015 standard. The cleats are manufactured from cast iron for high temperatures in the event of a fire. The cleats are designed to hold and retain cables in a single formation and tested in conjunction with FR type cable (BS 7846:2015) to BS 8491:2008 standard.
The CICC range cable cleats are marked “BICC COMPONENTS” along with the cable diameter range (XX-XX) accommodation covering diameters from 10mm to 51mm.
